Decomposes Large Amounts of Food Waste Without Burning. Large-Scale Commercial Food Waste Disposer “GOMI SUPPORTER (Registered Trademark)"

Why Choose GOMI SUPPORTER?

Feature of Gomi Supporter: massive decomposition without burning.

Massive Decomposition Without Burning

By adopting a shaftless drum, it is possible to process large amounts of food waste without using an incinerator.

Mechanism that generates no odor due to microbial decomposition.

Odor-Free

By activating microorganisms to the absolute limit, food waste is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide. Therefore, it can be processed without generating any foul odors.

Improved maintainability due to the adoption of a drum type.

Easy Maintenance

Troubles caused by foreign object contamination, which are common in shaft-bearing types, have been eliminated by adopting a drum-type structure.

What is GOMI SUPPORTER?

Do Not Accumulate

Since generated food waste can be processed continuously, there is no need to store it even temporarily. This prevents unpleasant odors and pests, minimizes infection risks, and maintains a sanitary working environment.

Do Not Carry

Food waste is discharged in large quantities every day. The physical burden and labor costs of those who carry it cannot be ignored. The large-scale commercial disposer “Gomi Supporter" handles the transportation of food waste automatically.

Do Not Burn

Running costs are about one-third of an incinerator. Decomposing massive amounts of food waste instead of burning it is much more cost-effective.

Based on the concept of “Do Not Accumulate, Do Not Carry, Do Not Burn," this system is designed to separate and process food waste directly at the source.
It completely overturns the conventional image of food waste disposers being “smelly," “hard to maintain," “unable to sort waste," or “impossible to scale up."

Crushing
A crusher grinds the food waste to increase its surface area, enabling highly efficient decomposition.
Screening
A fine screen scoops up most of the solid matter from the food waste. By removing solids, it reduces the suspended solids (SS) entering the water treatment facility, thereby lightening the load on the facility.
Decomposition & Extinction
Aerobic bacteria digest and decompose the solids inside the tank. Efficient decomposition is achieved by supplying sufficient oxygen with a blower at room temperature and periodic water spraying. The combination of a rotating drum, special high-performance contactors, and fans activates the microorganisms to their limits. With no blades used, there is no heavy mechanical load, making massive processing possible.

Recommended for those facing the following challenges:

  • Struggling to process over 500kg of food waste per day.
  • Wanting to drastically reduce food waste and industrial waste disposal costs.
  • Wanting to significantly cut chemical and electricity costs for wastewater treatment.
  • Aiming to be an excellent eco-friendly company contributing to zero emissions.

Adaptable to Various Environments

When using existing piping is difficult

A system diagram of the GOMI SUPPORTER, showing the flow of food waste from the sink workstation with a built-in crusher, through a compact pump tank, into the main unit, and finally out to the interceptor.

Simply install a crusher and sorting equipment as pretreatment units next to the disposer. This method can accommodate almost any layout case.

Examples: Hotel in T Town, Okinawa; Hotel in F City, Yamanashi, etc.

A 3D system layout of a commercial kitchen equipped with the GOMI SUPPORTER. It shows multiple sinks with built-in crushers connected to an equalization pump tank, feeding into the main disposer unit, and safely discharging to the sewer line via an interceptor.

Install a crusher in the kitchen sink, place a screen interceptor (solid-liquid separator) downstream, and process only the solid content in the disposer.

Examples: S Hospital in S City, Saitama; School Lunch Center in T City, Aichi, etc.

Large-Scale Disposer “GOMI SUPPORTER" FAQ

Basically, it is the same extinction type (microbial decomposition method) as our smaller “GOMISER" model, utilizing aerobic bacteria. The biggest feature is that it decomposes food waste into water and carbon dioxide, leaving almost no residue (dregs) even when processing large amounts, completely eliminating the need for secondary disposal.

Gomi Supporter utilizes a unique environmental control system that activates microbes to their absolute limit, so foul odors are almost never generated. Furthermore, a periodic water spraying function washes away odor components, maintaining a consistently clean state.

Running costs can be reduced to about one-third of a general incinerator. Rather than burning with heavy oil or gas, it operates solely on the electricity needed to maintain microbial activity. Therefore, the larger the amount of waste generated, the more significant the cost savings will be.

Yes. Since the waste is decomposed to a water quality equivalent to (or better than) standard household wastewater, it can be drained directly. *However, depending on the type of food waste and local government drainage regulations, prior confirmation may be required.

We can custom-design systems ranging from a 500kg/day model to ultra-large models handling several tons. We propose the optimal lineup tailored to mass-discharge sites such as food factories and shopping centers.

Basically, anything that is “edible by humans" can be processed. Large-scale models work in tandem with crushers for even more efficient decomposition.

Processable Items
  • Vegetables, fruits, meat, fish
  • Leftovers, snacks, fish bones
Unprocessable Items
  • Thick animal bones, seashells
  • Metal, plastics, paper materials

Yes, it is possible. We propose flexible installation plans suited to your site environment, such as a type where a crusher is installed in the kitchen sink, or a type where pretreatment equipment is placed next to the disposer.

Gomi Supporter adopts a “shaftless drum system," a design that minimizes machine trouble caused by foreign object contamination. In the unlikely event of a malfunction, we have a rapid maintenance support system in place.
